Events • On 5 Apr 1891 Fanny appeared on the census at Morris Farm, Piltdown, Maresfield, Sussex as a 18-year-old general domestic servant in the home of John Kenward, farmer. Also there was George Turner, farm servant, who would become her husband. • On 31 Mar 1901 she appeared on the census at Sharp's Cottage, Piltdown, Maresfield, Sussex as a 28-year-old married woman living with her husband and 4-year-old child. • On 2 Apr 1911 Fanny appeared on the census at Sharp's Cottage, Piltdown, Maresfield, Sussex as a 37-year-old who had been married for 16 years with 3 children, one of whom had died. • On 22 Jul 1953 her estate was probated at the Lewes registry, to Cyril Turner, local Government officer. Effects £203 11s 7d. At the time of her death she was a widow living at Wingfield, Framfield Road, Buxted, Sussex. Fanny married George TURNER, son of William TURNER and Martha, about 1895. (George TURNER was born about 1870 in Fletching, Sussex 1 2 and died on 12 Nov 1950.)
