Family Links Spouses/Children: William ROLFE Thomas Edward ODDY Eleanor Elizabeth ODDY Martha HARRIS 1 2 Born: Abt 1878, Pontypool, Mon 2 Marriage: William ROLFE about 1903 1   Events • On 2 Apr 1911 she appeared on the census at Brook Cottage, Beggar Hill, Fryerning, Essex as a 33-year-old who had been married for 8 years wityh 2 children, both still living. 2 Martha married William ROLFE, son of Unknown and Julia ROLFE, about 1903.1 (William ROLFE was born about 1880 in Chelmsford, Essex 3 4 5 and died in 1949 6.)    • Their marriage was registered during the quarter ended Mar 1903 at the Chelmsford registration district, with GRO reference vol 4a, psge 555. 1   Marriage Notes: The only reference I have found so far to William's wife is Mrs William Oddy in the 1911 census. She has been married 8 years. There are two William Oddy marriages in Chelmsford between Jun 1902 and Mar 1903: William John marries Elizabeth Martha Brewster in Jun 1902 and William marries Martha Harris in Mar 1903. Martha appears in the 1901 census born in Monmouthshire. Elizabeth seems to be born in Essex. I'm assuming that Mrs William Oddy is the former Martha Harris. 1
