William ODDY 1 2 3 4Events • On 5 Apr 1891 he appeared on the census at Beggar Hill, Fryerning, Essex as a 34-year-old general labourer. 2 • On 31 Mar 1901 William appeared on the census at Beggar Hill, Fryerning, Essex as a 47-year-old brickmaker. 3 • On 2 Apr 1911 he appeared on the census at Green Street, Ingatestone, Essex as a 56-year-old brick maker and labourer. 4 • His death was registered during the quarter ended Dec 1916 at the Chelmsford registration district, with GRO reference vol 4a, page 705. 5 • On 23 Jul 1917 his son Ernest's marriage certificate said that he had been a brickmaker. 6 William married Julia ROLFE, daughter of Joseph ROLFE and Caroline CHILDS, in 1882.1 (Julia ROLFE was born about 1860 in Writtle, Essex 2 3 4 7 8 9.)
