• On 5 Apr 1891 Agnes appeared on the census at Hugh Street, Pimlico, London as a 12-year-old scholar. 4
• On 31 Mar 1901 she appeared on the census at 58 Harley Street West, St. Marylebone, London as a 28-year-old cook in the home of Wilfred Hadley, physician and surgeon. Her age is obviously wrong, even though it is quite clear in the image. 5
• On 5 May 1901 her marriage certificate said that she was a 23-year-old spinster and that she lived at 55 Worfield Street, Battersea, Surrey. Her father, James George Seels, was an inn keeper. 2
Agnes married Frederick George HEROD, son of William George HEROD and Unknown, on 5 May 1901 in St. Mary's Church, Battersea, Surrey.1 2 (Frederick George HEROD was born about 1877 2 and died in 1910 6.)
• Their witnesses were Edward Seiner and Florence Elizabeth Herod. 2
• Their marriage was registered during the quarter ended Jun 1901 at the Wandsworth registration district, with GRO reference vol 1d, page 899. 1
