• On 31 Mar 1901 Charles appeared on the census at 45 Burnham Road, St. Albans, Herts as a 39-year-old printer's warehouseman. 4
Charles married Rebecca FAIERS, daughter of David FAIERS and Charlotte FURNISH, on 17 Dec 1882 in St. Anne's Church, South Lambeth, Surrey.1 2 (Rebecca FAIERS was born in 1859 in Otley, Suffolk 3 4 7 8 9 10 11, christened on 14 Aug 1859 in St. Mary's Church, Otley, Suffolk 7 and died about 1928 12.)
• Their witnesses were Thomas Harry Newell and Eliza Chisnall. 2
