• On 2 Apr 1871 Henry appeared on the census in Sandon, Essex as a 48-year-old agricultural labourer. 3
• On 9 Jun 1878 his son Henry's marriage certificate said he was a labourer.
• On 3 Apr 1881 he appeared on the census at Dove Farm Cottage, Childerditch, Essex as a 59-year-old agricultural labourer. 4
• His death was registered during the quarter ended Mar 1888 at the Billericay registration district, with GRO reference vol 4a, page 232. 5
• On 19 Feb 1871 his daughter Mary Ann's marriage certificate said he was a labourer. 8
