Carl Arthur TURNER 1 2Events • On 5 Apr 1891 he appeared on the census at Fuller's Bottom, Headley, Hants as an eight-year-old scholar. 1 • On 31 Mar 1901 Carl appeared on the census at Frensham Hall, Shottermill, Surrey as an eighteen-year-old domestic footman in the employ of the Hon. Charles Ellis. 2 • On 2 Apr 1911 he appeared on the census at Beechwood House, Sparkwell, Devon as a 30-year-old domestic butler who had been married for 4 years. however, his wife is not with him and we have no record of the marriage. 4 • His death was registered during the quarter ended Dec 1916 at the Devonport registration district, with GRO reference vol 5b, page 479. 3 |
