• On 7 Apr 1861 Henry appeared on the census in Spilfeathers, Ingatestone, Essex as a 9-year-old. ¹

• On 2 Apr 1871 he appeared on the census at the Beehive Inn, 35 Edgell Road, Staines, Middx as a 19-year-old coachman. ²

• On 24 Aug 1873 his marriage certificate said that he was a bachelor of full age who worked as a coachman and that he lived in Staines, Middx. His father Henry Rolph, was a licensed victualler.

• His death was registered during the quarter ended Dec 1878 at the Staines registration district, with GRO reference vol 3a, page 8.

Henry married Eliza Ann REASON, daughter of Alfred REASON and Unknown, on 24 Aug 1873 in St. Mary's Church, Staines, Middx. (Eliza Ann REASON was born Est 1855.)

• Their witnesses were Henry Rolph and another Rolph whose first name is unreadable.

• Their marriage was registered during the quarter ended Sep 1873 at the Staines registration district, with GRO reference vol 3a, page 17.
