Elizabeth appears to have been Emma's sister-in-law, Elizabeth Alice Staniforth. 6 • On 21 Feb 1902 she was granted letters of administration for her late husband's estate. 10 • On 2 Apr 1911 Emma appeared on the census at 70 Clifford Street, South Wigston, Leics as a 55-year-old widow who had borne 3 children, all still living. 7 • Her death was registered during the quarter ended Mar 1933 at the Blaby registration district, with GRO reference vol 7a, page 85. 8 • On 7 Jun 1933 her estate was probated at the Leicester registry to Thomas Joseph Staniforth boot and shoe salesman and Walter Staniforth shop manager.
