His home address was given as 186 Latimer Road, Eastbourne, Sussex and he was described as a porter. 6 • He served in the military as a private in the Royal Sussex Regiment from 10 Dec 1915 to 4 Feb 1919 in England until 14 Oct 1916 and then in France. He was wounded on 20 June 1917. 6 • His death was registered during the quarter ended Jun 1969 at the Eastbourne registration district, with GRO reference vol 5h, page 689. 4 Lawrence married Edith MARTIN in 1904.1 (Edith MARTIN was born about 1886 7 and died about 1910 7.)
