Gerard married Margaret Alice CADMAN, daughter of William CADMAN and Margaret SMELTER, in 1878.1 (Margaret Alice CADMAN was born about 1845 at Handsworth Grange, Handsworth, Yorks 7 8 and died on 8 May 1925 9.)
