• On 31 Mar 1901 he appeared on the census at 301 Walkley Road, Nether Hallam, Yorks as a 40-year-old silver chaser white. 4
• On 2 Apr 1911 Sam appeared on the census at 64 Stannington Road, Sheffield, Yorks as a 50-year-old silver chaser. 5
• His death was registered during the quarter ended Dec 1931 at the Wortley registration district, with GRO reference vol 9c, page 310. 3
Sam married Maria BAMFORTH, daughter of John BAMFORTH and Maria MACHAN, about 1881.1 (Maria BAMFORTH was born about 1860 in Sheffield, Yorks 4 5 6 7 8 9.)
