John married Maria MACHAN, daughter of William MACHAN and Ann IBBOTSON, on 28 Mar 1853 in St. Philip's Church, Sheffield, Yorks.1 2 3 (Maria MACHAN was born about 1833 in Malin Bridge, Yorks 7 8 9 10 11 15, christened on 12 May 1833 in Bradfield, Yorks 16 and died about 1909 17.)
