• On 7 Apr 1861 Amelia appeared on the census at Mill Pond Bank, 1, Union Place, Rotherhithe, Surrey as a 17-year-old dressmaker. 4
• On 6 Jun 1864 her marriage certificate said that she was a spinster of full age and that she lived in Commercial Road, Camberwell, Surrey.. 2
• On 2 Apr 1871 she appeared on the census at 8 West Lane, Rotherhithe, Surrey as a 27-year-old dress maker living next door to her parents. 5
• On 29 May 1871 she appeared as a witness to the marriage between her sister Sarah and Alfred Tulip at St. George the Martyr, Southwark, Surrey. 7
• Her death was registered during the quarter ended Jun 1874 at the St Olave registration district, with GRO reference vol 1d, page 170. It is possible that she died in childbirth since an Amelia Sarah J. Palmer died aged 0 and was registered in Sep 1874 at St. Olave. 6
Amelia married Latimer PALMER, son of Henry PALMER and Unknown, on 6 Jun 1864 in St. Giles Church, Camberwell, Surrey.1 2 (Latimer PALMER was born about 1838 in Isham, Northants 5 and died about 1902 8.)
• Their witnesses were Mary Ann Jones and Wm Searle. 2
• Their marriage was registered during the quarter ended Jun 1864 at the Camberwell registration district, with GRO reference vol 1d, page 842. 1
