Cause of his death was Killed in action. Medical Notes: Sgt Raymond Rolph was a Flight Engineer in the RAF, who was Killed in Action whilst part of a Halifax Bomber crew, which crashed at Farnsfield Nottinghamshire. Where there is a memorial. It was his first flight with the crew and may have been his first operational flight with 578 Squadron. |
