John CARNALL 2Events • On 7 Jun 1841 he appeared on the census at Kelham Street, Sheffield, Yorks as a 15-year-old who may actually have been between 15 and 19. 3 • On 30 Mar 1851 John appeared on the census at 38 Meadow Street, Netherthorpe, Yorks as a 25-year-old widower and a table knife cutler who was living with his children at his late wife's parents' home. 2 John married Ann BAMFORTH, daughter of William BAMFORTH and Elizabeth, about 1846.1 (Ann BAMFORTH was born about 1828 in Yorkshire 1 4 and died in 1851 2.)
